Honestly I would like a Bowser game that shows why, despite his countless failures and having powerful mages like Kamek that could potentially overthrow him, his entire army geniuenly loves him and *want* him in charge.

This video is interesting But it kind of fails with the antagonist We know what the black goop is, when you 100% bowsers fury you see that bowser jr pranked bowser by using his paintbrush but that sadly made him well furious as it seems that the magic paint shouldnt be used on people I find it interesting how this video has some research but then at the same time doesnt have enough reserch

Personally I think that the best way to handle roles for most characters (Bowser's minions, the Koopalings, Mario and Luigi, Peach, the Toads, Bowser Jr.) in a Bowser game would be to just... have the Black Goo/Fury/whatever it's called possess them too (I know you already mentioned the possession for the minions and Jr. but) Edit: how could I forget, the goo is named Trevor

In the super mario super show hes just pure evil and dont wanna be loved. He hates princess "toadstool" and the pesky plumbers.

I have a game idea if anybody wants to hear it. Story: Bowser is jealous of mario being with princess peach so he invents his own type of mushroom to secretly give mario. This mushroom would hypnotise mario and make him forget everything (i mean everything) so he wouldnt remember peach. Then bowser would have his chance, however it goes horribly wrong, the mushroom actually corrupts mario into this huge shadowy monster and hes destroying everything in his path. Bowser tries to save peach but hes flung away (kind of like how mario was flung away in super mario bros U, then he would have the travel worlds, but the worlds are different (not the same as U cuz thats boring). SO, the enemys would be all shadow corrupted and try to attack bowser, so bowser would have to travel fighting his own minions (and his koopalings). His mechanics would move kind of like odysey when we take over him with the cap, but he would have different power ups like mario did. In the end bowser fights mario and when hes down he talks to him and mario remembers everytjing, and the mushrooms effects no longer work so bes back to normal. Peach thanks him and mario too, and hes seen as the hero. However mario and peach are still together so he just goes back home, but his koopalings talk to him and basically make him feel happy that he has the koopalings. The game would be called: "Bowsers" something... If you reaf allat then ill allow you to comment your ideas and opinions for this game name and ill like whatever one i find fitting. THANKS

I ould see the ending going a little bit more like this. Mario brothers return from their vacation, Peach ad everyone are very reliefed by the brothers return, the brothers question this, but let it go and go inside leaving Peach looks up seeing the Clown Car fly away. She calls for Toadsworth and gives him a letter, Toadsworth sees the letter and is shocked on where it needs to go, but understands. Bowers returns to his castle and as he walks into the throne room he is greeted with a celebration with all his minions and kids there, a banner rolls down with the text BOWERS: HERO OF THE KOOPA KINGDOM. Bowers is still completely flabbergasted by all this before Bowers Jr, drag to his throne, Jr, hands him a letter. Bowers picks the letter and his jaw drops, he shreds the letter open reads it and his fist in the air happy as he can be. We see a bit of the letter showing a picture of a cake. THE END

i love this concept, though i think mario and luigi being on a vacation is a missed opportunity. while having bowser be a silent hero is poetic, i think the ultimate poetry would be him needing to save the bros. antagonist puts them in some inescapable castle, and bowser has to come to terms with the fact that his best bet at saving his son is freeing his nemeses. you could even make a little fork in the road type deal to prevent them from stealing the story: two locations need to be won over simultaneously, and the jump men will deal with the one you don't pick. though, if it were a movie, the video's idea is probably a better fit. also, you don't even need to ask about waluigi. _everyone_ wants waluigi.

The only bowser games are basically a bonus to mario games

I really want a game like this, closest we ever got was Inside Story (which is still phenomenal, don't get me wrong). Unfortunately, all these speculation videos do is hype me up too much lol

i dont think the black goo is evil in itself, its implied the black goo causes bowser to have uncontrollable rage but not being possessed. but it could still be the main conflict. But yeah all in all i would love to see a 3D bowser game

I think the Koopalings idea could be a good idea for power ups. Lets say that the goop controls the Koopalings too, and they forces them to attack Bowser. Once you beat them. Bowser can use their special abilities from there wands like Rings or flutter jumps!

I'd love a Warriors style game like Hyrule Warriors, where Bowser commands his army to invade various kingdoms, while hacking and slashing like in Odyssey. The main antagonist could be his father, who Bowser kept as a secret from Jr. until now. And he would be far more ruthless and villainous than Bowser himself.

I really don't want a fully Bowser game. I want a Full Bowser JR. Game. Imagine a story where Bowser and his minions get taken over by some other Villain and Jr has to save them all

Why not just give Bowser an original baddie to fight? One of Bowsers' defining parts of his personality is his pride. He enjoys being the top dog and hates it when someone else tries to be the Final Boss. Have a new villian show up, challenge Bowsers title of number one antagonist, so the Koopa King sets out to flatten him.

Overlord would probably be the funny outcome, he starts with Brown Goombas, gets Yellow Koopas and eventually Red Koopah Commanders.

I've seen this cool idea by someone on MOTI's the Grand Finale with Lyrics, but basically they want a game where it's Bowser fending off greater threats from the Mushroom Kingdom much like how he did with the Dark Star and Fawful, in a "No one torments this Kingdom but me!" way. I honestly think it'll make for a good campaign for a Bowser solo game.

An idea I have for the type of game would be a rougelike cuz that really fits him and his fighting stuff and works with the minions cuz they could be some of the upgrades

i want to expand the concept of trevor here's how COLOR SPLASH! due to the Mario & Luigi RPG collabing with paper mario, it's canon that both worlds is connected via a BOOK! what if one day bowser jr sneaks into 1 of peach's many castle to get the book, so he can play with his paper counterpart only too find them... possessed, and without hesitation trevor SPEWS onto bowser jr to make a second host (aka this bowser game isn't just happening in 3d mario, but also in paper mario) as bowser goes on he eventually finds a good counterpart of trevor (let's call it david) that decides to tag along as trevor is trying to KILL david as the game gets closer to it's ending david explains more and more about trevor's existence and how the black paint/goop is sentient due to negative emotions manifesting (supposed to be a PKMN mystery dungeon kinda thing) the first phase of the final boss is bowser vs bowser jr, and paper bowser also against their son (and it'll work like a tag team) the second phase is both bowser jrs merging into an amalgamation that both bowsers can't seem to defeat, and trevor TAUNTS them, talking though the jrs and saying things they'd never say... even going on to throw peach into the mix by using her as a WEAPON! the third phase is both bowsers, the koopalings, and david going full power on trevor, as the mario bros come in and try to help, only to fail and also be used as a weapon by trevor trevor gets kicked out of the traumatized jrs, peach, and the mario bros as it retracts into a small bowser-like blob saying that as long colors and emotions exist, so will trevor david goes nuh uh somehow (with the help of bowser) to defeat trevor david dies, and the mario bros, koopalings, and jrs try to comprehend what just happened inside a messed up version of peach's castle
